Patient-Doctor-Shake-Hands With the Florida legislative session coming to an end on March 13th, state senators and representatives have started migrating back to their home districts. Now is the perfect time to contact FSR to set up a meeting/office tour with your local legislators. We believe that rheumatologists play an important role in delivering quality and cost effective care to the residents of each district across the state. It is important to demonstrate your value to the state and the benefits you bring to the community. It is with this in mind that we are pleased to offer our resources to help facilitate both meetings and tours between FSR members and their district legislators.

Whether you are looking to meet with your legislator at their district office or provide them with a tour of your own practice, FSR can help you accomplish your task. Our staff is more than happy to reach out and schedule an appointment at a mutually agreeable time and place.

Typically, face-to-face meetings are the most effective tools that we, as rheumatology advocates, have at or disposal. However, with many legislators not taking any meetings in their offices over the course of the next few weeks due to COVID-19 (Coronavirus) precautions, FSR will be reaching out to their offices to arrange over-the-phone meetings for its members until the situation improves.

To schedule a meeting/office tour today, email FSR staff at jacob.lane@naylor.com with your name, office address, and general availability for your desired meeting/office tour.
